  1. Everyday Health: More U.S. States Declare Measles Outbreaks Amid Declining Vaccination Rates Anti-vax HHS Secretary RFK Jr. has railed against vaccines and built a network of anti-vaccination influencers through his Children's Defense Fund. In-particular, his Children's Defense Fund has warned parents not to vaccinate their children against the measles. RFK Jr. for years has created misinformation regarding vaccinations and created many parents who were vaccines skeptics due to his scientifically unproven rhetoric. As a result of declining vaccination rates, in-part because of the actions and rhetoric of our anti-vax HHS Secretary RFK Jr,. more kids are getting sick from vaccine-preventable diseases like measles. I guess that's what people voted for. "I see somebody on a hiking trail carrying a little baby and I say to him, better not get them vaccinated." - HHS Secretary RFK Jr. They voted for this . . . And voted for this . . . And voted for this . . .
  2. What do people think about the idea of finding a DH replacement for Colt Keith? I know Keith is still only 24 years old and could get better. But he wasn't great this pas season and was dreadful in the playoffs. His OPS was only .746 during the regular season with 13 HRs and 45 RBIs. He has a nearly 21% strikeout rate and had 102 strikeouts overall. Seems we could be getting a lot more production in terms of power and getting on base from the DH spot. What about replacing him with Ryan O'Hearn. O'Hearn had an .803 OPS with 17 HRs and 63 RBIs. He is still only 32 and had a higher BA, OPS, displayed slightly more power, and had similar strikeout percentages to Keith. I know this organization and Scott Harris might not be ready to give up on Keith yet as their DH. Are you ready to give up on him at the DH spot? If so, would O'Hearn be a guy you'd be chasing after?
  3. They called it a legal play though on the field when they called it a touchdown. They even huddled about it, determined it was still a legal play and a touchdown, and then spotted the ball for the extra point. Only after the league chimed in from New York did they suddenly determine it was not a legal play. They used an obscure rule, that most teams and fans have rarely ever watched be enforced, to take points off the board against the Lions. Had the officiating crew huddled once, determine it was not a legal play and overturned it at that point, it would be more understandable. They twice determined though that the play was legal when they didn't initially throw the flag and then huddled the first time and still didn't throw it.
  4. More upset over that than a penalty that actively took points off the board for the Lions?
  5. This is a ****ing ridiculous explanation. The fact that the league has to write a novel to explain why something was a penalty shows how over thought and over complicated their rule book is.
  6. The NFL needs to make every single penalty reviewable and open to the challenge flag. League officials cannot be trusted to make the right call anymore, not that they ever could really. It all needs to be second guessed and reviewed for accuracy. Furthermore, the NFL needs a ref clock, much like a play clock the players have to abide by. The refs have 30 seconds, from the time the play was blown dead, to make a decision to throw a flag. For there to be over a full minute of time gone by before they decided to throw the flag is absolutely ridiculous. That can't happen.
  7. I'm just going to throw this question out there. If the Ravens were to fire John Harbaugh, would you want him at Michigan to replace Sherrone if John was willing to come coach college football?
  8. Uncompetitive is not fair to say. We had a TD called back. This game was closer when that is rightly factored in. We screwed ourselves with two crucial mistakes. The St. Brown drop and Hutchison's boneheaded penalty really hurt us. In tight games like us that matters. The refs didn't do that too us, we did it to ourselves.
  9. That called back TD really hurt in the end. I know we hurt ourselves with our own mistakes too. Whatever. Onwards to next week.
  10. Finally a penalty called. Wish Goff would have taken a free shot down field there.
  11. No. The drops by Reynolds in the NFC Championship game was.
  12. If the refs shan't call back that TD we're in this.
  13. Alright, we've been the victim of so many comebacks over the years. Now it's our turn to do it to another team. Let's go!!
  14. Not even covered. Not a white jersey within a mile.
  15. The stain on the front of Collinsworth's pants must be enormous.
  16. Great catch by LaPorta. We needed that in the TD there. No were back into it.
  17. Nice drive so far, but we have to come away with points.
  18. We make TEs careers. Why can't we cover the TE?
