    It's silly David Ortiz is in the HOF, failing multiple PED tests while guys like Bonds, in the conversation for greatest player ever, Roger Clemens, in the conversation for greatest pitcher ever, and Alex Rodriguez, probably the greatest SS or 3B ever, are not in the HOF.

    I used to go to 1 or 2 games a year and remember Mike Napoli just crushing Tigers pitching a few times. One year he was on the Angels and the next year I went to a game and he was on Texas.

    Same thing that happened in Detroit during the first 15 years or so of Mike Ilitch owning the team and the previous 10 years under Chris Ilitch. They weren't even trying or, hard to belief they were as pathetic as they were, had Randy Smith/Al Avila using their intelligence and skill to construct a team.

    It's almost hard to believe the Astros are -145 on the betting line. Typically, those lines are based on the SP.

    Why? It's a business first and foremost. The attendance was so low that it didn't make sense to stay there. The stadium was a train wreck. It's no different than a person switching companies for a much better personal situation.

    Skubal isn't staying in Detroit. He might be traded at the deadline next season depending on how the Tigers do.

    Starting Casey Mize is no different than starting Maeda, they will need to plate at least 7 or 8 runs to win.

    Sorry, but the starting SS isn't lighting the world on fire and how many top 100 prospects end up sucking? Probably about 85 of them. But who needs a top of the rotation mlb pitcher?
