Imagine of Judge actually started the season hitting like he is now. Even the year he hit 62, he started off really slow. He was Javy Baez and most of the rest of the gang bad.

I would guess Flaherty is the only one that would return anything at all worth trading for. Next year, the Tigers are going to be asking a king's ransom for Skubal. Wonder when they will start shopping him.

I don't believe that someone followed a player home after a game to threaten him. Beforehand, that guy would need to know where the players park, what type of vehicle the particular player drives, and be able recognize that player out of uniform. That's a tough sell for me. The guy just followed him? .I would assume these players probably have garages that they drive in. How did the perpetrator get to talk to this player? Yet, the player somehow got threatened by this person and then didn't bother to call the police or beat the hell out of the guy? That's a tough scenario to believe.

Please, if there are major league players reading this. I am truly sorry I called you drama queens because I suspect most of these threats are made up or embellished. No one ever lies about anything that has ever happened to them. It was incredibly rude and inconsiderate.

Does it happen to football or basketball players? There are a certain number of psychopaths on the planet. Some of them gamble, some of them do other stuff. A guy shot Ronald reagan to impress Jodi Foster....there are always going to be people that are crazy.

It was documented to one guy. When the Lions got beat by the saints a guy from Detroit called up the superdome and threatened to blow up the stadium. That doesn't mean threatening to blow up stadiums was widespread.

I am left with the impression that you didn't understand my comments. A player saying someone threatened them doesn't mean it actually happened.

I think a lor of the players are drama queens when it comes to the "stories" about people threatening them. Not saying it hasn't happened but I am guessing they embellish it. Kind of like when LeBron James claimed someone just happened to get into his high security gated community with armed guards not allowing anyone in, and spray painting derogatory words on his home, you know the one that has cameras that cover every inch of his property even though those cameras somehow missed filming the culprit. And he just happened to have people paint over the words that were spray painted before the police could get there to document it.

And they wonder why most people don't care about this franchise.

The Tigers have only one chip to get any prospects from Baltimore: Skubal.

Will he get a massive haul though? Mayne he'll get players back but it's just a trap shoot on whether any will be quality players.

Am I missing part of the season? Malloy has 2 career hits, Lee has zero. Canha has a .720 OPS. Vierling is a 4th outfielder. If you are using these as your examples of amazing hitters, your argument is super weak to non existent.

The coach challenge is stupid. Why can't they just have an ump watching the game and if the call is wrong they simply buzz down and tell the home plate ump. It would have literally taken 10 seconds for the catchers interference to be overturned.
