I mean.... it's not even an issue of degree in this scenario. It's not true that one is simply worse than the other. Until we see multiple lawsuits against MSNBC, including settlements, then it's not a true analogy in any sense. MSNBC is a circle jerk at times for lefties.... but that's their enjoyment to have. It's harmless. Think of it like one group of people likes to have consensual orgies and another likes to go gang rape people. They are clearly not the same thing! That's MSNBC and Fox. Now a evangelical or religious nut might look at both as demented perverts but in a legal sense but that's not relevant to overall standards.

Because it affected the narrative. That gave Biden the needed perception that he won and put Trump and his team on the defensive. And it hurt the viewers feelings and pissed them off. I think both equally bothered fox staffers. Not unlike what happened in 2000 when Florida was called for Bush then pulled back. Not saying it would affected that outcome either but it plants the seed that one guy has an edge already. It's all about optics.

Prosecutors implied that act of terrorism is defined as a disruption or intention for change of government operations. Judge seems to think you need a body count to be terrorism.

You haven't told me the agenda other than talking about black people too much. What is it about them and black people that riles you up? What news stories or segments were wrong in your opinion? I provided you with an opinion that bias by itself isn't bad. It's not a legal or moral distinction. It's marketing.

well when someone's evidence of bad bias is "they talk about the blacks too much".... what is one to do?
-
Everyone has some form of bias, it's how you use that bias that's important. You can show harmless bias simply by deciding what stories or topics to cover. For example, the local Fox 2 channel does this at noon every day when they have two African American anchors, Maurielle Lue and Lee Thomas, sit and talk. I've noticed their topics are of particular interest to that community. It's fine. They aren't pushing an agenda, just diverting coverage to a more targeted demographic. Probably because the show that comes on after is Sherri which is African American focused. The bias gets harmful when you have people on, like Fox does, who blatantly lie or mislead. Fox News does this when they bring on Jonathan Turley, under the guise of straight legal analysis, who completely distorts the facts. Bias isn't a bad word in and of itself. It's how you use it. A network could be biased simply because they talk about the Royal family too much and some viewers may not watch it. A local sports network like Bally's Detroit is biased, without being agenda driven or hurtful, because they will obviously frame things around Detroit teams and players for a Detroit audience. Nobody's lying or distorting the facts. That same broadcaster could then work the weekend for a national outlet covering a Detroit team and they flip a switch and cover it straight.

and all this bull****, the reason we are talking about him today, is because of a hollywood strike in the mid 2000's and Mark Burnett pitching an idea to fill the gap in the TV lineups for a show involving Trump who at that point was a washed up real estate tycoon that was yesterday's news. He was as relevant as Jim Bakker or Max Headroom, some forgotten guy from the 80's who had his moment in the tabloids but was considered a joke at that point.

Your words were they were “pushing racial and LGBTQ issues”. I drew a reasonable conclusion based on those words. If inaccurate then you can correct it.

Right. But they probably spent 6 minutes inspecting an 86 year old woman’s medical supply bag for lighters.

It’s really enjoyable. The music. The breaking of the third wall. The graininess. I can’t get enough of it. I read the book it was based on. Some great stuff in there.

I haven't looked at his numbers defensively but my eye test doesn't sell me. -
What is the MSNBC agenda? I know the Fox agenda. It's to make old white people angry and scared of minorities. If both are equally bad then what is MSNBC trying to do? I'm sensing a little bit of "they're shoving it down our throats" when a commercial shows an interracial or gay couple. No... they are just confirming that these situations do exist.

I'm fine with just paying him to leave. He's hurting the team. -
I'm not so sure it's a case of wanting to get rid of them as it is they can't find them to begin with or don't want to pay them what it takes to lure from elsewhere. My local fruit market has a lot of young people, HS and college aged, working their registers, no self check out. Of course at this place it's rare to have a cart full of stuff as they don't have that many items to begin with. We get our perishable items Kroger or Meijer pickup and our fresh fruits and meats from the local market or an Aldi. Takes two trips but it's fine. We can be in and out of Westborn or Aldi in 15 minutes.

My go to "old guy" thing is Grady from Sanford and Son. He was 42-47 during Sanford and Son Redd Fox was 10 years older. I see it a lot when they show grandmas in commercials. They look like they are 80. Doing knitting and such. In reality they are probably in their 50s and 60s.

the next episode is better... as I'm sure you've read here. Enjoy.

He wouldn’t be doing that if Wally were still alive would he?

Jerry Reinsdorf has moral authority based on that alone to move the team.

Back in the day, 2006-2014 era, there was a couple near us that always brought in leftover pizza in Tupperware containers… along with their backpacks. -
