  1. Jesus Christ. Everyone is an expert. Come back in 2 years and whine. Right now it’s all bull**** and speculation.
  2. They did something similar for the NHL draft lottery.
  3. Where we work out is a community center. During the election her people were having some kind of rally or something in either the theater or a meeting room. This collection of people I came across in the parking lot was straight out of a meme. Old ladies with funny hats and buttons. Lots of religious and anti abortion bumper stickers. Lots of them. Bible verses painted on the cars. I was going to ask them if JFK Jr was speaking but my wife wouldn’t let me.
  4. Same here. My on screen display didn’t come on and I was stuck. I couldn’t believe it. This guy has a career ahead of him.
  5. I do feel bad for someone when it looks like they are finished doing what they have done their whole life. I don’t hate players who’s only fault is not being good anymore. They aren’t doing anything wrong. Sometimes the vitriol I see bothers me. These are humans doing their best.
  6. I've made the Shep/Beato comparisons in my head before.
  7. Smyly saved the day.... I still get mad at his lack of usage in game 2 in the 2013 ALCS. One batter.
  8. everyone can calm the F down now...
  9. My friends and I make fun of this:
  10. remember in the 90's when people like Limbaugh and Falwell would refer to Ellen Degeneres as "Ellen Degenerate"? They were mad that a lady on TV was a lesbian. Man... that was ****ing hilarious.
  11. If we were playing the A's or Yankees in the playoffs, it was a good thing. Anybody else? Not so much.
  12. They can still disbar him though, right?
  13. I like to use my wife as an indicator. She really likes it. If she likes something then I think others will too. Doesn't work in reverse though. My opinion is that it's kind of a throwback show. It's not trying too hard. Great music. I could see this being on TV in the 70's. There's a grittiness and it's also tender and funny. Not joke funny but observant funny. Like a Hill Street Blues. Even after 3 episodes I am into the characters already. I want to see what happens to them. And the music is great. Don't recall reading about that from others but every episode so far has had some really good songs in there.
  14. This is amazing.
  15. We have started on The Bear. Knocked out two the other night and probably catch up more this weekend. We both really liked it. We are only good for an hour or so a night.
  16. There's no way that it can be known to be true because that's just the argument he used for not doing anything. But he also gave information to dispatch indicating he had a good idea where he was. He froze and just used that as an excuse to get off legally. Like when a cop shoots someone even though we can all see they shouldn't have, all they have to do is say they were in fear and they get off.
  17. My son got a ticket in Detroit. He went to pay but the app was down and it said " System Maint No payment is required at this time". He took a screenshot of the message. He got a ticket. Car is in my name... I went through the process of appeal, sent the photo, explained it all, and they denied it. I could appeal it in person. What a racket. They know doing that will deter people like me who just fork over the $35 or whatever it was.
  18. He barely won in ‘18 and in ‘22 ran against a bad candidate that alienated both parties over his mixed career. He could be a benefactor of incredible luck and not all that after all.
  19. He’s also totally unlikable. Has no personality at all. Robotic. He’s like Nixon in that regard. It’s fun to see all the trumpies respond to his teams tweets. It’s not pretty.
  20. Yes we always stop at that lookout too. I was last there in 2021 for a wedding in Petosky. We figured we were already going that way so we spent a few hours in that area before heading over.
  21. Absolutely. Bring them in. Work to death wringing out every contact they have. Then spit them out. The employees only exist to provide sales for their immediate contact list. Real estate people often live in a bubble. They live and breathe it. All their people are in the industry. They assume everyone else is too. It’s all about constant exposure and bombardment. This lender is too far deep and just assumes you are into the business like they are and enjoy the game and phone calls rather than trying to move on to th next step in the process so you can resume your life.
  22. So it’s on you to prompt them to give their best final offer?
  23. Wow... that is fun. Immaculate Grid 88 8/9: 🟩🟩🟩 🟩⬜️🟩 🟩🟩🟩 My score was 267. Picking Lou as ROY and Cecil Fielder as the Tiger/Blue Jay helped a lot I guess.
  24. My only surprise is it took until now for this to come out. You just know he peeked in the shower or bedroom on her. I'm 100% convinced of that. He probably paid some dude to take her out and all that just so he would report back to him on all of her tricks.
  25. Nobody is leaving anybody behind. Just because you try to address one action doesn't mean you are ignoring the other thing. Supporting Breast Cancer research doesn't mean you don't give a **** about prostate cancer. Or black lives for that matter.
