Later on Dubya did his thing but at the end said of Gore "While I can't wish you success I wish you nothing but the best" or something along those lines. DIfferent times.

Just now I referred to a former co worker, named Kerry and a last name with a lot of letters, as Kerry Carpenter. He'd retired and I was asking one of his bosses if they ever found a replcement for one of this person's duties.

I always saw Vierling's value as his versatility. You don't neglect to fill a regular spot b/c you have Vierling but you have Vierling around to fill those holes that always pop up, either through injury, slumps, or days off. 4 days a week you'll need to fill one of those.

Here's my conspiracy theories, I'm not one to believe them normally, but I'll throw these out there by saying if something weird is going on with the campaign, this is what they are likely to be, IMO: 1) Create the impression something is wrong, beyond what we have seen, attempt some kind of replacement on the ticket option "Look he's not well ok, you guys got to replace your candidate, let us replace ours", these votes shouldn't count, and when that obviously fails because a process isn't being followed by the GOP like it was the DEMs, they will use that to cry foul and that the election isn't fair and blah blah blah which will lead with chaos (their hope) 2) He knows he's losing and this is more about his trials and making him look unfit to be charged because it would be cruel.

Wow, that dude is still alive? Even before my conversion I turned that guy off as he was too religious for my liking. But... what he said there is something. You can't discount that and I think it's an area where pollsters could miss. If what he says is true then it has to be true in a lot of places. Like mtu says.... it's the margins.

I see pallets of materials out front but they've been there for awhile so who knows... sure hope they reopen. Classic dive bar and a favorite of ours before or after Tiger games. No nonsense.

I was thinking about the regular seats as I thought chas was also referring to empty seats in the stadium. MLB sets the required take for playoff games for a sellout and it's up to the teams to decide how to get that from the fans.

It can't be ticket prices... at least in my case the listed price for the ALCS were actually cheaper than they were 10 years ago for the same seats. Back then the ALCS were in the $100 range. This year they were listed at $85 on the app.

I renewed back in August, before the run! Bet they wish they had held off putting those together. In fact when my rep called to ask about renewing the team was near its low point.

Yet while the union itself is saying this a large number of it's members will still vote for him.
