  1. Go with the hot hand. Haase caught a no hitter, Jake's last outing was a disaster. If it actually matters...
  2. Skubal's 2023 WHIP is.....0.00. Sometimes I love small sample sizes. No where to go but up, Scooby. 😆😆
  3. Hinch has all the stats so it could be the splits on the opposing SP? Maybe Haase has a good history against him?
  4. How much did Riley raise his BA by going 2 for 2 yesterday? I see he's now hitting over .300 but when he got hurt, I didn't think it was that high.
  5. What concerns me about this is I've seen this being said on other players and then two months later, surgery ended up being required. Wasted months....and then it takes longer for them to get back. Not needing surgery is much better but get a couple opinions on this to make sure there's agreement.
  6. That was back when they played for the love of the game. 😆
  7. I saw Leyland get mad and say "not on my watch" about overworking young pitchers and risking injury. Manning was already gassed, it's like early April for him. Safe and smart thing to do was take him out. I woulda had him done at 6 innings.
  8. Manning gonna have an extra glass of milk tonight!!
  9. I really was waiting for that....and worse! 😅😅
  10. To be fair, Toronto has a really good team. The Tigers? Not so much...
  11. The Tigers best chance to win a game in this series was Friday. The next 2 pitchers we face are quality arms. Of course, we've been making bad pitchers look pretty good for the last week or so...
  12. Yeah, Miggy is making his farewell tour. He's being paid for all the joy he's brought us in his career here. We all have a favorite Miggy moment... And Shreve? Yes, he's the type of LH you bring in to get a tough LH hitter and then get him outta there. But the rule change to 3 hitters mandatory makes him ineffective. Haase? Yes, he's been pretty bad. His slump has been going on for too long. Better options? We'll see at the trade deadline. But until then, we have to keep him. Isn't Englert a rule 5 pickup? If so, we need to keep him. Exact opposite of Cisnero. Rebuilding teams should load up on young talent that may help in 2 or 3 years. Cisnero is just an old useless pitcher. He's #1 on my list to DFA.
  13. Schoop plays like a 50 year old.
  14. Schoop gone so now let's start badmouthing Cisnero. Totally useless for a rebuilding team.
  15. JV is pitching for the Mets on MLB TV.
  16. Is there really room on a rebuilding team for a 34 year old ineffective relief pitcher? Seriously?
  17. It was nice to hear him say that the 1987 1-0 late season victory was the highlight of his storied career.
  18. They have to pay Schoop so he stays no matter what.
  19. OMG...fireworks, really!! The horror...the humanity....🤣🤣 Al long as he, along of hundreds of NFL players, are not harmed blowing them up....who cares? It's a nothing-burger.
  20. And people want to rush even more minor leaguers up here. We finished the rebuild last season and then fired our GM. Now it's time for our new GM to rebuild. Another 3 to 6 years of losing....
  21. I think Keith may force them to call him up. If he tears up AAA...bring him up, see what you got.
