  1. Toronto is 1.5 back of the WC. They threw out huge bids for several top free agents. I don't see them giving Bichette away cheap. Maybe if Sweeney, Jung and Anderson are included. Baddoo has no trade value. Bichette has received mvp votes 3 seasons. He has regressed, but is still only 27. I hope you guys are right. I highly doubt Toronto will sell from their current producers for prospects, unless the package is very strong. BTW Sweeney's ops+ is 74 and his war is negative. I don't think he has much trade value either.
  2. The horror......the horror.......
  3. Yuck. They'd won 11 straight at Cominsky. Was gonna come to an end at some point. I agree that Holton is a concern, and Hanifee has not been effective. Time to try someone else. Owens?
  4. Bichette would be a half season rental. Toronto is playing well. The price for Bichette would likely be too steep
  5. I still hate the yanks, but it softened a bit because the DD Tigers owned the Yankees in the post season, and my hatred of the Dodgers is higher. And since Big Papi in 2013, the BoSox are higher too. I'll root for the Yanks to sweep Cleveland
  6. Carp had a shot at 4. Meadows with the glove, basepath and bat. Dylan with his first outing. ChiSox slammed down hard. Excellent game!
  7. Weren't a fan of the glad-bag dome?
  8. Damn!! Why on earth would people post such a random lie? To fool naive folks like me!!
  9. Aaron Judge hit 2 dingers. And the Yankees lost 18-2
  10. Want to give a shout out to Tork. He donated 7.5 million to build a shelter for homeless. I did some digging and it's legit. Also saw he does charity to help diabetes research. I've worked with homeless families and individuals for most of my 36 year career, so this hits home for me. You're a good man Tork! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1CBEaMiw9q/?mibextid=xfxF2i
  11. One plus, Keith had 2 hits. His average in now north of .230 and his OPS north of .700. Maybe he is about to have a streak
  12. Lol, I understand the need to vent!
  13. They were a playoff team last year, are over .500 this year and have a top 5 player in MLB. Their offense is lacking but they're hardly aaaa. Wacha has an arsenal mix like Bibee and Hendricks, and all gave the Tigers problems.
  14. Cobb doesn't sound very close to me https://www.freep.com/story/sports/mlb/tigers/2025/05/31/detroit-tigers-alex-cobb-rehab-start-with-high-a-west-michigan/83962512007/
  15. Sometimes you tip your cap. This outing dropped Wacha's era to 2.88
  16. Carp in the OF reminds me of Gibby.
  17. If only thorough stats had been kept for Josh Gibson
  18. Whew......a finish that was papa grande-esque!
  19. How does Tampa still have a team?
  20. Kody Clemens playing well. Only 56 at-bats, but.....OPS+ = 198. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/clemeko01.shtml
  21. Tigers claim Ryan Cusik from the A's https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/05/tigers-claim-ryan-cusick.html
  22. While Liranzo may drop in prospect rankings, Briceno is going to rise. OPS is now at .992, and this following his crazy AZ Fall league
  23. You left out Rusty Kuntz. He was a difference maker
  24. My expectation is he puts up ~ .250 and 20/20 and play great defense. But I also expected Mars to bring back the Marathon bar (and no, the Cadbury curly wurly is not the same)
