Dtrain72 Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Oh nooo, Mize looks like Maeda's batting practice twin agaaaaiinnnn... Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 18 Posted June 18 It's hard to win when your pitcher is throwing batting practice. Quote
Dtrain72 Posted June 18 Posted June 18 If Mize looks like this the rest of the season, he may very well not even make the roster next season...even as the #5 pitcher...he's bad. Quote
Tigeraholic1 Posted June 18 Author Posted June 18 Mine just is not the same pitcher after Tommy John. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Someday Casey will recover from his 2 surgeries and year and a half off. I hope. But if he's arbitration eligible? Bye-bye. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Malloy is totally overmatched at the plate. And he can't play the field. Parker just needs to hit .220 at this level... Quote

kdog Posted June 18 Posted June 18 (edited) Hinch talks about how they they always get two out singles and can't stack any kind of offense together. I've seen him mention it at least five times in his postgame. First two guys make outs, then the 3rd guy hits a meaningless single which doesn't matter. To counteract that, you would need some power but they have very little of it. Edited June 18 by kdog Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 18 Posted June 18 The way you guys are carrying on you’d think Mize gave up two runs in the first inning. Oh, wait…. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I doubt if nine fouls in one at bat is a record, but that’s a lot. Quote

kdog Posted June 19 Posted June 19 (edited) The Atlanta guy threw 3 sliders and a curve to Malloy, then he wasted a fastball. Malloy flew out on a slider. Edited June 19 by kdog Quote
