RedRamage Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I just discovered this sub and holy cow is it good. Of course, it's probably good that I discovered it NOW vs. like 10 years ago. Anyway, if you haven't been there yet, check it out: https://www.reddit.com/r/NFCNorthMemeWar/ And if you find any really good ones, please share them here. Ya know... stuff like: 1 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I approve of the Bears replacing the Lions as the division punching bag. Quote
RedRamage Posted November 19 Author Posted November 19 Lions need to win by at least 5 points on Sunday. If they do that they will have as high a point differential against the AFC South as the rest of the NFC North combined. 1 Quote

They've won 5 games by a combined 17 points. They've lost 6 games by a combined 32 points. Let's win by 33 points! Quote
RedRamage Posted November 25 Author Posted November 25 Didn't get the +33, but still a solid 18 points, which means we beat the south by more than the rest of the NFCN combined. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted November 26 Posted November 26 I came across something on YT last night where there is some sorta coalition between all the feline fan bases against the bird fan bases. Given the fact that the Lions are the only good cat team at the moment it is an unfair fight against the likes of the Eagles, Ravens, Cardinals and others. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 26 Posted November 26 The cats could ally with bears. Oh wait... Quote
RandyMarsh Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Some Lions fans were saying stuff like "we apolpgize to our fellow feline and their fan base the Lions were just giving tough love last week for the long term gain of no Pederson." It was just filled with jargon like that with all the cat fans sticking up for one another and the bird fans doing likewise. Quote

Random thought in regards to this, you could almost be able to have divisions based off mascots. Land predator division Lions, Bengals, Jaguars, Panthers, Bears Birds Cardinals, Seahawks, Eagles, Ravens, Falcons Other Animals Dolphins, Rams, Broncos, Colts, Bills "Good" people Patriots, 49ers, Chiefs, Commanders, Saints, Steelers "Bad" people Cowboys, Bucs, Raiders, Vikings, Texans Random crap Browns, Chargers, Giants, Titans, Jets, Packers Edited November 27 by RandyMarsh Quote
romad1 Posted November 27 Posted November 27 The Chargers would be a horse or they are in some teams but the California NFL team of that name has only sort of tried that one on. The 12 year old boy mentality has a field day with Packers/Browns games. The Steelers are "good" while the Packers are "random"? Both are industrial job descriptions. Somehow white collar jobs don't rate I guess. Unless Chargers are kept women who use their husband's credit cards? There is no buffalo known as the "bill" so that's a weird one. Shouldn't they use a picture of Buffalo Bill? Quote

Yeah for Buffalo I was gonna say that I had no idea where their team came from but since they used a Buffalo for their logo that's what I was gonna use as their mascot. Quote

You got a point there. But Buffalo is maybe a special case though since it's the only city in the NFL already named after an animal. So by symmetry, shouldn't their team name be a city? Like the Buffalo Londons or something? Also - in the era of EVs maybe the LAC could use a hamster on a treadwheel? Edited November 27 by gehringer_2 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 27 Posted November 27 The Bills should have been named the Buffalo Chips. Quote
RedRamage Posted November 29 Author Posted November 29 There's a lot of good stuff in the subreddit today... this one I love: Quote
