He is actively working at changing the American people's thinking about Russia, Germany, Japan, and whose side we are on. He is seeking to completely disassociate from our traditional allies and align us with an axis that includes Russia and its satellites, Turkey, Hungary, India, and possibly Israel. This is a complete break from eighty years of a successful world order that won the Cold War and staved of World War III. 1 Quote

I was just pointing out that it's a common notion among a lot of elderly. You must be talking about the elderly who are pushing 100, because Russia has been our enemy for going on 80 years now. Even 85-year olds remember ducking and covering and doing fallout shelter drills at school. I doubt a lot of them have love for Russia after that. Quote

It honestly blows my mind you can watch those two videos and say the officers did the same thing I never said the officers in both situations responded the same. What you seem to be implying is that Beto and Padilla did exactly the same thing and that's what blows my mind. Padilla was wrong for barging into a press conference and shouting and screaming and causing a scene. He was in violation of the law when he started resisting law enforcement. It was all done to illicit a response and he got exactly what he was looking for. This is no different than those times a member of Congress shows up somewhere, demands entry, gets rebuffed and then runs to social media to play victim. It's all stupid ass political theater and it annoys the **** out of me, no matter which side does it. Edited Thursday at 09:42 PM by GalagaGuy Quote

Had this been Padilla holding a press conference and Noem walked in and started shouting questions, you'd be here defending her getting tossed and you know it. This silly ass hypocrisy in politics is half the problem. I didn't seem Padilla shouting questions in that video. Did you see a different video of that? Can you share it? 1 Quote

I've never *ever* seen a sitting US Senator or Cabinet Member get tossed like this. Furthermore, regardless of what they say, they *knew* who he was. And it was *they* who lost their poise (purposely or otherwise) to assault the Senator. Don't make excuses for the DHS Secretary Quote

We've had it so good with protections and freedoms that people have taken them for granted. We can't see what's happening because we haven't experienced it before. We are too easy.
