CMRivdogs Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Billsburg gathering is later today, just in time for the weather to roll in. We were out running errands today, I wore my Madison Federalist 51 quote shirt...my own version of protest. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I drove by the closest one by my house. Appeared to be a couple dozen. I took a pic but it's not easy trying to take a pic while driving 80 MPH. It was a pedestrian overpass on 696 near Gratiot. I got off the freeway and circled around 11 Mile and Gratiot. There were probably less than 10 at the corner. Heavy police presence for such a small crowd. Quote

Can’t risk messing his hair or washing off his makeup. Well, he lies about every single issue he ever talks about. I'm not sure why he's even ever asked any questions, his answers can't be believed. Tiger337 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago There were more people than I expected at the No Kings Rally in my town. There looked to be about 300 people with more people coming and going. There was a guy in a truck with a Trump 2028 sign trying to start ****, but everybody pretty much ignored him. I only stayed for about a half hour because a bird crapped on my jacket on my way there - must have been a Trump supporter. Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Huge turnout here in Eugene, significantly larger than the previous ones. I will watch what the official count is. To me many of the signs are clever and touch on the broad variety of Drumpf’s fascism, but they really serve to support the protesters. We had positive honking from lots of people driving by, but most wouldn’t have been readable. I think the sheer numbers are the thing to impact public opinion. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago They're protesting in Canada too, but it's not tyrants since Canada does in fact have a king. Quote
mtutiger Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago 300+ strong in Morris, IL today (decided to attend in person)... Impressive given how conservative it can be out this way Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago This birthday parade is so lame. There's almost nobody there and everyone there just looks bored and miserable. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago It's like when you can convince the fire department to drive by and blast their siren for the dying five year old's last birthday wish. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Of course this is being sponsored by a crypto company. Quote

GalagaGuy Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I noticed the same thing. About 95% of the crowd has a look on their face like they're regretting their decision to attend Trump's birthday bash. Quote

LaceyLou Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Sad part is our armed forces deserve better-too bad he who shall not be named had to make it all about him instead. 1 Quote
LaceyLou Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Some questionable music choices.... I saw a clip where they played Fortunate Son by CCR as the parade was going on. Sounds like somebody has no idea what that song is about. 4 Quote
CMRivdogs Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Local Social Media pictures showing an impressive turnout in JCC/Williamsburg. I'm guessing close to a thousand folks. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Hold up, why do they have an RCV in the parade? They just announced cancellation of that program a few weeks or so ago. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I've seen better small town parades on Halloween... Quote
