It is a big problem though which brings us to your point about his funding cuts for diabetes research. his point is to 'blame' people for getting diabetes and then make them suffer the consequences. Refresh my memory, what part of my oath said that drug dealers off the coast of South America are entitled to the favorite buzzwords of the bleeding hearts "due process"? You must really be outraged over the Bin Laden raid. You are aware that during the raid there were multiple people killed, including two women, right? How dare those Navy Seals Obama sent take aware their right to.....wait for it......due process! Quote

Even the drone strikes in the ME at least have a formal internal review process and the targets have to be identified as individuals. When you kill people without due process, that's murder by anybody's definition. Even any kind of police action requires suspects be given the opportunity to surrender. Were these people? You are only good with this because you feel securely beyond the reach of some arbitrary power doing it to you. But the screw has a way of turning. We are officially a rogue nation. Have a nice day. oblong Posted September 4 Posted September 4 it makes weak people like him feel tough to think that way. It's no skin off his back and his phony fears are subsided by the bleeding out of brown people far away. 1 Quote

Tiger337 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I am not happy that I don't qualify for a vaccine. I have had Covid before and it was no big deal for me, but I will be teaching for the next 8 months and if I get Covid I am supposed to stay at home. That means remote teaching for a week which isn't good. The lecture is OK, but doing computer labs in breakout rooms is not a good way to learn. Quote

Type II follows obesity like day follows night. Kennedy's sense there is something widespread going on that is wrong is correct, but he's not seeing the actual forest for all the overweight people right in front of him. Quote

To be fair, he has said that he wants to ban a lot of processed foods. I don't know what his plan is for that. Quote
