I've been wondering which wave you and I are in? Definitely not the first wave, foreign nationals and citizens with particular skin color, which is happening now. Second wave will probably be Democratic politicians and liberal activists—that one might start up really soon. Third wave will be media, academia, research scientists, traditional medical establishment, non-evangelical clergy, and other thought leaders. So, probably fourth wave as run-of-the-mill lippy bastards. They'll almost certainly seal the borders from the inside before it gets to that. When that happens, that's when we'll know we're actually mortally doomed. Quote

Says the guy who depends on the goodwill of the team for clubhouse access. 😏 That said, I do believe the players, field coaching staff, and the new front office are neither part nor parcel of the rotting ISE organization work culture. When I see Skubal in his American flag I cringe knowing that means he’s a Trumper. As an adult, I have always assumed that MLB players and professional athletes are generally people with whom whom I wouldn't want to hang out. At the very least, I have always figured many if not most of them to be egotistical and entitled. So, I don't cringe at the thoughts of their political leanings. They are great entertainers. Quote

I would guess that male professional sports organizations in general tend to have a lot of "alpha males" that that don't respect women very much. Quote
mtutiger Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Just based on my own personal experience in the field, this pure unadulterated BS Quote

No doubt, and that typically extends to the clubhouse as well. I'm sure there are misogynists of at least the casual variety even in this clubhouse. In any club comprising dozens of young men, there can't not be. But I do believe they are not part of parcel of the rot of ISE corporate culture, but rather, simply (and sadly) typical of any of the other 29 organizations. I'd like to think ours is better on some level, but that's admittedly hopeful thinking. Quote

They are aren't rounding us up, but rather trying to attack our credibility and drain our resources. 3 Quote

Yeah, its part of whatever glitch has been going on with MTF. God bless MWG and his diligence for us silly people to chatter. That guy in the pictures will look much better when they put him in Red Square. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Is he on his phone in the video? I can't tell and don't want to assume anything, just asking. The right wing had a meltdown over Biden looking at his watch. So I'm asking why he's looking down and moving his fingers in such a way. Quote

Herschel Walker fathered multiple children out of wedlock and then abandon those kids as a deadbeat dad. He was rewarded with a nomination for US Senate by the Republican Party in Georgia. Quote

mtutiger Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I have no idea whether he had a stroke or not, but when you watch a video of him from 2015, it's very clear he's not hitting on all cylinders anymore Quote
