GOP: Do what we say

Dems: No

GOP:  We will starve the people

Dems: FU!

GOP:  You will pay twice as much for healthcare

Dems: FU! No.  That's monstrous!

GOP:  Even if courts say we must feed people we will not!

Dems:  What is wrong with you?

GOP:  We will have a Great Gatsby party!

Dems:  We will take whatever measures are necessary to prevent you from destroying our country any more.

What a hilarious quote in this article by Curtis Sliwa, of all people:

Sliwa, a central-casting New York Character who comes by his nuttiness honestly, pointed this out in an interview. “(Billionaire Cuomo donor Bill) Ackman is a jerk. Has he been right yet? … Does he know anything about politics? No. Does he live in New York City? No. He lives in Chappaqua, the whitest suburb in America, where even the lawn jockeys are white.”

I don't think the democrats care about anybody.  They just want to use people and especially the lesser knowledgeable people to gain power.

The Democrats definitely do care about the working people of America, even if part of the reason is to earn their support in the democratic marketplace of ideas.

We all know who it is the Republicans care about, and it ain't the people who have to work for a living.

By all means, keep cooking Mr President haha

The first 24 hours, when politicians are actually on the spot to have to say stuff about stuff, is always the most revealing of what they truly think, and that includes Trump.

After they have had time to marinate in the results, the Trumpublicans will devise the talking points they believe will win them support for the idea of widespread voter fraud in this election, in advance of declaring a national emergency surrounding the 2026 elections.

Believe it or not, I have been to a lot of democrat functions and conventions.  They never once talked about helping people, it was all about getting elected and gaining power.

well if Trump has changed his mind there will be a deal in a day or two. The thing he has to work out is pretty much what you note above - he has to work out the best talking points for declaring victory while caving in.

They dont help cover for pedophiles like you do, but their position on the shutdown is to help people with health insurance premiums so thanks for demonstrating how dishonest you are so easily.

Caving in on what?

Trump will never learn or understand just how big of a loser he is and how he's a total failure at everything he touches. The guy who bankrupted casinos should have endorsed Democrats in the elections he wanted Republicans to win. It was their only chance. 😅😅😅
