CMRivdogs Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I wouldn't hire any of these folks to run a lemonade stand, let along mange a huge government agency. And what about those folk who keep saying the government should be run like a business? Even John Dillinger ran a tighter ship than TACO 1 Quote

romad1 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Many of you might have seen this letter to the editor that the Freep posted last week. The replies are fun. https://www.freep.com/story/opinion/readers/2026/02/20/trump-ape-video-obama-racism/88755839007/ I liked this one. Quote Words to keep in mind Regarding Nicole Russell's column stating that voting for Trump doesn't make her a racist: My opinion is that if you like him, you're like him. My two cents. Trump doesn’t want competent people around him who know what they’re doing, because competent people have ideas and opinions about how things should be done, and they’ll tell you so. He wants incompetent people who know they are in over their heads so they just shut up and do exactly as they’re told, which is something any competent person would never tolerate as a condition of employment for long. In exchange, they get rich and they get to abuse the system and its people for jollies, which is something deeply-damaged people love to do. Edited 6 hours ago by chasfh 2 2 Quote

oblong Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago not anybody important. This is the excuse he needs for future bad news. "That wouldn't have happened but the woke SC took away my tarifs". It's all about simplicity for him and his fans. As long as he can strip down something to small sentences with as few words as possible, regardless of accuracy, then he benefits because his base is stupid. 2 1 Quote

Tiger337 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I am happy though that the Supreme Court did not cave on the tariffs. It does not matter whether they are good or bad (which is probably the case). They are illegal. 1 Quote
oblong Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago If they're good then they can be implemented the proper way so that congress is accountable. Quote
