The FBI is not an American domestic only law enforcement agency. If Patel is not getting daily briefs on security involving the Olympics over the past several weeks, that would be an impeachable offense and far outweigh this silly beer guzzling embarrassment in the locker room. OK...I'll give you that point. But his job in security of America. And being ar the Olympics on the last day of games had zero to do with security of anything. And I seriously question the judgement of that clown when he was drunk, guzzling beer down like a clown who's mommy and daddy left him alone on vacation. He looked like a total laughing stock. SNL will have fun of that situation. Quote

The world is laughing at trump and his lackeys. 2 Quote

CMRivdogs Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago When to bed about halfway thru, was really hoping to see Gov Spanberger. I assumed she would have been in the House of Burgess. I might have been more fitting if she made the address from the Apollo Room in Raleigh Tavern Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Giving the Presidential medal of freedom to athletes is ridiculous. Hey, they got their Olympic medals. It's just another thing that's been cheapened by this creep. Doing it for poll numbers. It's why I rooted for Canada to win the Gold. Trump ruins everything he touches. Quote

How many non-trumpers watched it? Or even worse, how do you trust any telephone or I-Net pol in an age of AI bots? Serious question that goes beyond Trump. The old line about believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see needs to be update to "none of none" Maybe it's because I don't consume as much news media as I used to / use social media less, but people overrate how important these speeches are and how many people actually watch Further, Donald Trump is the most known figure in politics today and is polarizing beyond belief. Everyone has an opinion on him. The downside to that is that he has a hard floor politically, but the flip side is that his ability to sell those who disapprove of him (which is what he needs to do to help his party) is near impossible at this point. 1 Quote

He'd just be replaced by another red hat athlete. Most professional athletes, especially the white American ones, are ardent red hats. If you want to be a fan of big-time sports, you can't allow yourself to set a bar of no MAGA ever for your teams because you can't ever have that. Either disassociate the player from his ideology, or give up following big-time sports. Simple as that. You're rooting for the player, not the person. Difference. 2 1 Quote
