So much winning until nine months from now.

I wouldn't count on that.

A lot of people are going to show up to vote and be denied.    Especially in cities and suburbs near big cities.  I guarantee it.   The Supreme Court will do nothing.

And once it's gone, it'll take a Civil War to get it back.     I just don't see young people looking up from their phones long enough to care.

With Gen Z and Millennials having unprecedented  access to information - they are *mostly* dumb as dirt.  Especially Gen Z.  They've had too much done for them and have lived a life of pushing a single button to solve anything that they are lost.   Millennials are actually a little more savvy than Gen Z.  A growing number of Millennials are turning away from "smartphones" - probably because they see what it's done to Gen Z.

Now if you are reading this, and you are part of Gen Z, then you are the exception.    Because if you linger here, you probably give a ****.    But dealing with Gen Z and the "I don't know how to....." is frustrating as hell.    You know what.   Just about everything I do in my job, and in my life, I didn't know how to do at one point.   So I learned.    And it has NEVER been easier to look things up.   But still  "I don't know how to....".    Because there isn't a one-button solution to do it for them.

(By the way, I love what they are doing this season on The Pitt -- to avoid being hacked like several area hospitals, and noticing hundreds of attempts to hack them,  they shut the whole network down.  Went into the "dark ages"   That means medicine before 2005.    A lot of those young doctors are in a trial by fire now, but think of how valuable that learning experience will be for them.  Might be rocky, but yeah, totally relying on tech is very very dangerous and I think we're all going to find that out in the near future.    Something massive will happen (probably not long before the midterms)

The point being lost here is that the death of Khamenei doesn't guarantee the fall of the actual regime. Isn't that the actual goal here?

It reminds me of all the rejoicing from about taking out Maduro... At the end of the day, the same socialist regime is still leading the place, isn't it?

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss... But at least the Bubbas are entertained lol

Naturally... just as with Venezuela, they didn't bother selling this BS to the public

Close but not quite—they did sell it to the only people that matter to them.

That said: 69% among your base, when you're used to 90-something ... not good.

Some might argue the real goal is to get you thinking and talking about this, so you don't have the bandwidth to think or talk about that other thing he desperately wants you to not think or talk about.

Exactly. All this brings is more instability and violence to the entire region. Nothing has been learned over the 25 years. Neocons are back baby!

I should have been more specific. I meant in regard to how nine months ago, Iran's nuclear program was obliterated and now it's a threat again. Today Iran's leadership is obliterated but I doubt that's the story nine months from now. To make sure they are not a nuclear threat, someone will have to go look at their facilities. I don't think Trump cares about that. He wants an easy win. It was never about Iran for him. It's about not getting caught with his pants down (literally) in incriminating videos.

I just wonder what media diet the people have that are cheering this on like their alma mater has a 2 touchdown lead on their rival.

Oddly enough it is the same people who in 2024 were no new wars.

Apparently they must have all forgotten about Iraq, which was the foreign policy equivalent of "28-3"
