Can Americans get COVID vaccines in Canada?

I don't know. Google says yes for money at a private clinic. Could try calling some places.

I am not happy that I don't qualify for a vaccine.  I have had Covid before and it was no big deal for me, but I will be teaching for the next 8 months and if I get Covid I am supposed to stay at home.  That means remote teaching  for a week which isn't good.  The lecture is OK, but doing computer labs in breakout rooms is not a good way to learn.

It depends on the province. Alberta is a "no". We looked that up since we'll be there in October.

$224 at CVS if your insurance won't cover it.

The number of people with diabetes has doubled (surprisingly he got that right), but that is a little misleading.  Some of it is because we are now better able to diagnose and treat diabetes and also because because people are living longer in general.  It is a big problem though which brings us to your point about his funding cuts for diabetes research.

The real public health epidemic is obesity and it shows no sign of letting up. Type II follows obesity like day follows night. Kennedy's sense there is something widespread going on that is wrong is correct, but he's not seeing the actual forest for all the overweight people right in front of him.

To be fair, he has said that he wants to ban a lot of processed foods. I don't know what his plan is for that.

Of course, for starters, the term "processed" is so vague a term as to be scientifically meaningless when it comes to food. A corn flake may be highly 'processed' but it may contain zero additives.

Yes, I don't know how to make the determination, but there are many foods available that are pure junk.  We would all be better off if they were greatly reduced as smoking has been.

Stolen from Reddit regarding Trump and his supporters:

"Gonna share you a secret: they don't listen to him. They don't have to. All they want is to consume "information" that tells them all is well, and the world makes sense, and everything is running how it should. If they have that, they don't need to engage their minds enough to reflect that how they are informed is not very direct or clear or in line with anything anyone else is saying.

A society will fall thanks to the need of idiots to have simple answers."

I agree... however cost is an issue in poor communities as that's often all that's available.  It's not easy in the neighborhoods in Detroit to find good fresh food that's good for you.  especially if you don't have a car.  But that can of soup and beef stick and cheese from the gas station will have to do.  That's all you can get.

jobs report sucks; 6 months of Trump economy has sucked; he has promised another 12 months of pain.

Will Dems make him wear this crap every f****** day?

No, they won't. What an incompetent party.
