He deserves to be fired though too. Warde won't go unless the Board of Regents is madder than a hornet's nest at him. An Interim President won't can him and it's more likely that the BOR is going to toe the company line with an evolving situation like this. They like football but they aren't going to kid themselves into thinking they can find the next coach (or knowing who should). It's possible a "holistic evaluation" into athletics is kicked off with the next administration though and a year later he "mutually" parts ways into some "bigger and better" role elsewhere. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted Thursday at 01:56 AM Posted Thursday at 01:56 AM I feel bad for his family and hope he gets the help he needs. 1 Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted Thursday at 01:59 AM Posted Thursday at 01:59 AM At this point, first and foremost, I hope Sherrone is OK and those around him are not harmed either. This is a very real situation involving other human beings. I hope no one ends up getting harmed or Sherrone harming himself. 1 Quote

I don’t wish harm on anybody but I’ll save my sympathy for someone that deserves it. Sherrone is a total scumbag POS. I feel sorry for his wife and kids. 1 1 Quote

buddha Posted Thursday at 02:49 AM Posted Thursday at 02:49 AM minter's show cause has expired. however, i think they'll want a clean break from harbaugh and co. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted Thursday at 02:55 AM Posted Thursday at 02:55 AM Couple other names that might be explored: David Shaw, Brian Griese, Larry Foote, Pat Narduzzi, Lance Leipold, Kliff Kingsbury, Robert Saleh, Zach Orr Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted Thursday at 02:57 AM Posted Thursday at 02:57 AM The funniest outcome would be for Michigan to hire Kalen DeBour and Alabama to hire Lane Kiffin. Quote

"Minter, who was Michigan’s defensive coordinator in 2022 and 2023, has been doing an excellent job as the defensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Chargers the last two years. Minter received a one-year show cause from the NCAA last year, but that expired on Dec. 15, 2025. However, Minter may want to see the season through with the Chargers, who are likely to make the playoffs. Further, Minter will likely be a candidate for head coaching jobs in the NFL this cycle and he may want to stick in the pros." Quote
