If you look at the Wild Card standings in both leagues, there are currently only about 8-9 teams that look like potential sellers.

that has been the objective

They can try to tap into the summer tourist money that Tampa can’t get. That’s partly how Vegas and Nashville are going to work.

What’s going on with the proposed Vegas stadium?  Anything?

Official groundbreaking on Monday. Some work has been done leveling things and what-not. There are still people that doubt it happens.

Since I’m hard up for entertainment - apparently - I’m watching the Orioles play the Rangers in Baltimore on this Monday off day for our club and it’s 101° and it feels like 109°. Sweet. Marcus Semien K’d in his first at bat.. forgive me for being childish, but I am hard up for entertainment

The Orioles announcer said that from the opening day roster almost half of those players have been on the IL. And Orioles players said they don’t expect anyone to feel sorry for them because they have been pretty dominant the previous two years.

Per NY times, the Twins picked up Baldelli's option for 2026 today. Odd thing to do in the middle of such an inconsistent year, especially following last year's collapse.

The Yankees have lost seven of their last 10 and the Mets nine of their last 10. It’s odd that both teams should be faltering at the same time.

Someone with a garden hose that’s a part of the grounds crew is spraying water on the crowd.

Took the dog about around 10:30 last night the temps were still close to 90, humidity was horrible. But it still beats shoveling snow in March
