Fanduel app for smart tv

I added this to the tigers discussion thread but it might get lost/buried. 
 

if your smart tv doesn’t have the Fanduel app, you can access fan duel via your Amazon prime app which just about every smart tv has.

Most people have probably already signed up if they need it, but just in case. If you want to access it via Amazon Prime, you have to subscribe to FanDuel through Prime. If you have already signed up directly through FanDuel, you can't "connect" it to Prime after the fact.

DOFU stream allows you to stream all major sports and NCAA for free. Been using it for years.

Assuming you mean Amazon firestick then yes.

I use a Firestick, and it sucks. At least once per game it just completely drops out of the app, if not restarts the Firestick completely. I use the Firestick for all my viewing, and it's the only app that has a problem.

I have a Roku and it started dropping FanDuel too. It's the Fanduel app, it's absolutely horrible. No other app loses its connection. I have Anazon Prime, Hulu, Apple+, YouTube TV and Netflix that all play perfectly. Fanduel stinks...

I still can't sign into my fanduel app on my phone.  I have fanduel through Xfinity and would try to sign in through that but it never prompts for username/password and eventually brings me back to the home page of sign in or join.  Eventually I found directions that said I have to create an account first and then I could sign in, but everytime I try that it tries to get me to add my credit card info and select monthly or yearly subscriptions.  I'm sure i'm doing something wrong and it's not too often I want to have the game on my phone, but as of right now, the app is dead to me.

Somone posted somewhere: thetvapp.to  This works great and is FREE. Open the web browser on your smart TV or phone, find what you want to watch and switch to full screen. No pop ups or anything.

I watch on Prime and after a few innings, the audio is lagging behind the video by about 3 seconds. Sometimes it just stops and I end up restring the whole thing.

The Xfinity app? I thought Xfinity still carried Fanduel? Unless you're not in Metro Detroit...

Yeah, I was trying to watch it up north while we were on vacation.  The Xfinity stream app (mostly) only works if you're connected to your Xfinity Internet.

I wonder if Fanduel will be keeping these regional sports networks or if we may end up with something better. I still say all of these sports leagues lose a bit of (a lot of) credibility with multimillion dollar gambling businesses involved.

It'll be rolled into ESPN+ gradually, I suspect.

if they already negotiated down in 23-24 I won't be surprised if at least at least a few teams are willing to go in a different direction instead of signing on for more give backs when it was supposedly  a pretty good yr for baseball overall.
