Skubal is at home (I know, he spent a lot of time in Arizona too), nice visit with his college coach and college teammates yesterday, get away day = large strike zone, Skubal wanting to erase memory of opening day loss.  Tarik is going to put a beatdown on the Mariners and the Tiger bats will have a big day today!!

I expect the division be like that all year - four mediocre teams vying for the division title and the Tigers have just as much chance as any of them.  

Edit: It's the wrong four teams at the moment!

Heading onto the road shortly to make the 2hr 45m drive down to Safeco Field, or I guess it's called T-Mobile now. Have been to many games there but never with the roof closed, which I assume they'll do today. First time in the States in 2025 so in case Peace Arch border officials stop me and read my phone, let me just state for the record ... God bless America and I hereby swear I am not and never have been a friend, family member or associate of former governor Trudeau, what a looser.

This is not related to todays Tigers game, but I am at my first game of the year that counts. Nothing like seeing a game in retractable-domed comfort in April when it’s miserable weather outside.
