Tenacious D Posted Tuesday at 05:31 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:31 PM (edited) Max Anderson still raking. As a 1B/2B, he’s a bit buried on the depth chart. Likely trade candidate for relief upgrade? Edited Tuesday at 05:31 PM by Tenacious D 1 Quote

Briceno took a bat to the elbow last night since no roster move must be a good sign anyways. Edited Wednesday at 01:15 PM by Tigeraholic1 Quote

To see him progress to where he is now gives me hope that the new organization is just better at developing hitters than the previous one. I still feel that he his success so far might be a fluke. RandyMarsh Posted Thursday at 12:46 PM Posted Thursday at 12:46 PM Like I said before I'm not gonna get excited about Pacheco until I see him perform at Erie or I see a reason to be optimistic from a reputable outside source. But just putting up good numbers in his 3rd stint in High A isn't going to do it for me. /debbiedowner Quote

But I also expected Mars to bring back the Marathon bar (and no, the Cadbury curly wurly is not the same) Quote

Just to add to this, Liranzo was in his "dropped out of the top 50" category and the reason he gave was that he has struggled with offspeed stuff thus far in Erie. Quote

IdahoBert Posted Friday at 11:10 AM Posted Friday at 11:10 AM Josue Briceño Is 6’ 4” and 200 lbs - those of you who are metric and recalculate this in your head - and he’s only 20 years old. I don’t know how much more “growing into his frame and filling out” this guy has to go. Should we trade him for a short term reliever to get us over the bump in August and into the playoffs, even though he might be the next Aaron Judge? I sure hope not. Quote
RatkoVarda Posted Friday at 12:11 PM Posted Friday at 12:11 PM I was thinking ~June 1 for Clark/McGonigle/Briceno to move to Erie, but McGonigle only has 50 PAs in Lakeland and WM. maybe he does not go when Clark and Briceno go, but his performance has been great. maybe Liranzo + Briceno is not ideal at Erie, but they raked in the AFL as teammates.
