Or...is it any player on the 40 man roster who can be used for a playoff roster? I am pretty sure that anybody on the 40 as of 8-31 can be in the playoffs. For example, this is how the Tigers hope to use Paul Sewald Quote
Graterol Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Is there any shot mcgonigle gets to Detroit? If you had to win a game tomorrow, would you prefer mcgonigle or Baez against rhp? Steamer has Baez forward looking wrc at 81, mcgonigle at 103. Quote

Anybody in the organization can be a replacement for a player from that pool who is injured. 2 Quote

That can change but so for the front office seems to like mid season promotions and then start the next season at that location as well. So that same trajectory would put him Toledo/Detroit in the second half of the 26 season. That goes for Clark as well. Quote

Arlington Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Just catching up here. The announcer for WM's Patrick Lee's fabulous diving catch and assist at first called it a walk-off double play. I don't think I've ever heard walk-off used for a defensive play, at least not in a positive way. Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I had thought Anderson was highly likely to be traded at the deadline. Maybe there wasn’t a match, or he’s not that well regarded. Let’s see how he does at AAA. Quote

IdahoBert Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I hope these great young players of ours don’t start coming down with hamstring injuries, nerve issues, and oblique injuries. We’ve had a rash of that at the big club. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted August 14 Posted August 14 This announcer calls him baseball's #2 prospect? The good ones usually get here quick. Too soon? I would say so but he may give this Tigers team a jolt... Quote
Shinzaki Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Flores left last nights game with an injury. FB was said to be so slow it registered as a change up. Didn't even retire a batter 1 Quote
