I caught the very end of the radio broadcast and Dan acted like whatever happened at the plate Baez shook it off. Am I right?

Yes. Fouled a ball squarely on his right knee. Shook it off. Then k'd

I swear Tork and Greene can never be good at the same time. When one plays well the other struggles.

3k's not so good, but the other AB was a 100mph EV shot that it took a great play by Altuve to prevent an XBH so he's not completely  in the dumps either.

Despite the hot start, I don't think Torkelson has suddenly become a particularly high BA hitter. He'll be doing fine if he settles out around 250-60 BA but >30HR and maintains his good walk %.

I love the radio as well. I’ve been listening to Dan’s play-by-play every summer since at least 2003 (the 119 loss season). It’s nice to be able to listen while also doing other things, not feeling the need to be glued to the TV (or a stream).

It’s one of the reasons I like radio audio overlay over the tv video: I can look away and do other things and still hear the full description. Then when something happens that will likely lead to a replay, I come back to the screen for that moment.

A couple of fly ball outs in Comerica. Dingers here in Houston! Wow. These hitters would love to hit here full time!

And that’s why Bregman was never coming to Detroit.
