Tigermojo Posted May 11 Posted May 11 I wonder when the last time was our bullpen gave up five runs. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Worst loss of the season? It seems like a long time since we've been blown out so bad. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 11 Posted May 11 I had high hopes after Carpenter hit that lead off homer. I thought we’d keep doing it all night. Quote

Who else do we have stretched out? Manning? Last I saw, his AAA ERA was quite high. Manning is done. 1 Quote

Especially their starting. First 2 games they've had our number. Tigers have to get their bats together, hopefully for 1 game tomorrow. 1 Quote

Dan has been missing all sorts of stuff lately little slips of the tongue that he never used to make like getting names mixed up. It worries me that something might be going on with him. Quote

IdahoBert Posted May 11 Posted May 11 The Padres have laid 20 runs on the Rockies in Denver and it ain’t over yet Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Everyone including us in the Central division lost today except the Twins who pulled up to .500 with a 20–20 record. 1 Quote

1776 Posted May 11 Posted May 11 I’m officially on record as being concerned about Flaherty. With Cobb’s track record you really don’t know when he’ll be ready. And with Mize out for a couple of weeks the starters have to be good enough for quality starts. I’m not getting a positive vibe from Flaherty here. Quote

Toddwert Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Dan Dickerson is 66 its not like its unheard of to get a little more forgetful at the age Quote

It happens to me frequently. It doesn't matter too much in my work, because I don't need to say names much. It's more difficult for a broadcaster who doesn't have the option of just not sayig the name or hesitating until he gets it right. For example, if Framber Valdez is pitching, I can imagine an older broadcaster have Ismael on his mind and just saying it. Quote

That's another thing that can easily happen to a healthy older person, but when you have a very public job it can get magnified. It can certainly be a problem if it becomes too frequent but I wouldn't be concerned that "something is going on". Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted May 11 Posted May 11 The Rockies might not get to 40 wins this year. Heck, playing in that division, they may not hit 30. White Sox, your stain only lasted one year. Quote
