IdahoBert Posted May 21 Posted May 21 It’s the duel team fanduel pregame show again. But on mlb.tv you can only reach it through the St. Louis feed. Yes Todd Jones is there. My guess is they can’t afford to have two feeds going at once. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Either it’s windy in the booth for the pregame show or they always have a fan focused on the woman so her hair is flowing like she’s in a 1980s MTV hairband video. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Still no Tigers specific feed. I guess we won’t see that until the top of the hour. Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 21 Posted May 21 The Cardinals pitcher is a ground ball specialist who gets ground balls 60% of the time, but somehow our first two guys managed to strike out. The wind is blowing out the center and right center today so maybe if we can get some balls aloft and keep the other team from getting balls aloft we might have a good day. Quote
lordstanley Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Cards announcer on Greene's hit: "There goes the no-hitter for Pallante". That was suspenseful. 2 Quote
chasfh Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Why did that lumbering dumbass try to take second on the throw back in to the infield? I like aggressive base running as much as the next guy, but I don’t like taking pointless chances. Quote

I like the quicker game times of the past couple of years, but when you combine that with what has become common 6:40pm ET start times, games are ending by 6pm my time, which seems really early. When since the 1950s have so many MLB games been done by 9pm ET. I think in the 1970s games at Tiger Stadium didn't even start until 8pm. Quote
