chasfh Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Whoa, what happened to Parker Meadows on that final fly ball? He almost fell on his ass. Hope he just slipped on the grass and it’s not nerve-related. Quote
lordstanley Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Dan D’s relaxed call of the final out. Tigers Close Out White Sox.m4a 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 5 Posted June 5 A win tomorrow will put us 20 games over .500. Twenty games! Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 5 Posted June 5 The Tigers have scored 19 runs in three games, which is 6.33333333333333333333333 etc. yet I am not particularly comforted by this but they’ve won two or three games which rationally should make me happy. The White Sox are definitely a better team than last year. Good for them. It’s better for baseball to not have really terrible teams. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Torkelson on a 4/25 scuffle, late on the fastball and missing the breaking ball. Needs to get his head straight again. Quote

papalawrence Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Was an ugly game. Glad that Perez got safely into 2nd, and that Keith's bloop double fell perfectly. Luck matters in games like these Quote

It’s amazing how hard it is to win 100 games even in the era of 162 game seasons. Quote
romad1 Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Listening to Scott Bentley at work this morning...it was a loss in all ways except the result. Quote

Hinch always says he's never sorry after a win. You take the victory and move on. Our BP mostly shut them down, you can't ask for much more. Quote

My take-away from this is that this is a loss (losing a 4-0 lead gradually all game long) in all seasons i can remember except the magic ones. Quote

holygoat Posted June 5 Posted June 5 SGL showed some really nice stuff in this game. Hopefully working with Fetter can get him dialed in more. Quote
