Sports_Freak Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Very methodical win for Detroit. Tampa didn't seem to put up much of a fight. Quote
romad1 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Kreider Montero is like that kid staring at the crucifix in the parochial school principal's office. He's like, if they punish that guy by killing him on a plus sign, I'd better work hard to do good at math here. 1 Quote

RandyMarsh Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Last 162 games we are 100-62, that's 27 games better than the Twins and 24 better than the Guardians. So crazy! 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 8 Posted July 8 They pulled Montero after six innings even though he’d only thrown 68 pitches so my assumption is that when he gets very far into the third time through the batting order that he gets hit a lot harder I’m just guessing and I don’t know how to look this up. Coming into today OPS+ up to 111 and has an .860 OPS the past 30 days. Specifically: From April 30th through today: .302 BA, .895 OPS, 7 HR's in 185 PA's. And 14 doubles and 2 triples. Not huge power. But enough. Edited July 8 by 1984Echoes Quote
