IdahoBert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I switched over to the radio feed and I see on the screen they’re talking about their favorite aquatic animals. Quote
Toddwert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 zach thats guy that doesnt get the memo that the game is suppose to be over lol Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I know there’s a certain strategy to how you use your pen, but it just seems that leaving Lee out there that long is a miscalculation. Is no one else available? Quote

IdahoBert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Not fair not fair the Rays are acting like they want win this game bringing in different pitchers and stuff when it looks like the guy isn’t even melting down giving up five hits in a row. Is this a thing? Quote

IdahoBert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Never say never because these guys have surprised us so many times, but I get the feeling that might’ve been our last best shot. We’ll see. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I don't blame Hinch cause it's hard to pinch hit for your starts young player but tactically it probably would've been better to use Javy there against the LH. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I mean, winning the series at home against a top team like the Rays is nothing to be ashamed of. But it feels a bit like being pantsed in the locker room, kicked out the door, and the cheerleaders are laughing at you. We had good reason to think we could win this game. 1 Quote

A similar bounce led to Ichiro walking in for the inside the park hr. You're definitely misremembering something. Verlander and Ichiro were both on the AL team. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 But there’s two more chances, especially if we can avoid allowing more runs. Quote

As mentioned by @gehringer_2, Riley has basically been Jake Rogers for a while now. To be honest, and I hope to be proven totally wrong by history, even when Riley was going good, I still hadn’t gotten to the point where I felt he was a proven “star”. To me he’s so far been a proven mlb starter, like B, not an A. Quote
IdahoBert Posted July 9 Posted July 9 To the Tigers credit, they do not spend a lot of time zeroing in only on hot young babes in the stands. Quote
