Oh, so they have thought of another way to not let me watch a game on MLB.tv?  Nice.  Hopefully, I can watch using youtube tv.  It worked last year.

Ramirez getting thrown out racing to home in the bottom of the 9th must’ve been crushing for Cleveland fans I mean, devastating especially after the sheer joy that swept through the crowd when he made it to third base.

If anybody takes joy and another fan base being tortured, this is right up there at the top of the torture register. Some of them may hate baseball forever because of this.

BTW, another terrible HP ump. Tiny tight strike zone early in the game, then he was giving the pitcher's a ball's with off the plate late in the game.

I’m watching the Sawx play the Yanks, on YouTube TV right now. It’s a shame that both teams can’t lose.

I know from reading this board(s) for many years, you said you played baseball at a higher level than most. I have to disagree here. No way, no how does that ball get by him. Period. Even if you don't get the out. At this level, they should know how the spin works. You can't let what happen, happen. Not trying to start a fight, just the old baseball guy in me coming out.

That said, I feel for all those who couldn't watch. Major bummer.

We got a gift when the guy became a sitting duck. FINALLY, a little something goes our way.

I aged about 10 years in about an hour today, but I guess that's what keeps us coming back.

When the game was over I headed to my watering hole, full of Indian fans. Giggle. Sat with one. First thing he says; you lucky *******. Yes, I suppose that's true. Well, maybe the guy shouldn't have ran half way to the plate so he is a sitting duck. NO, he was only a little bit off the bag says the guy.

It would be really special to see this done tomorrow. The bucket list gets another checkmark.

Can't people stream ESPN with their app? I forgot the game wasn't on the MLB app. ESPN must have exclusive rights.

I was just spitballing. I didn’t rewind it and was too depressed to check further because I assumed he would score and the Tigers wpuld lose. I agree with G2’s later assessment that he lost his footing. That’s a play he’s made a lot and it didn’t look too difficult in real time.  Something happened for him to miss it in my opinion other than just missing it. 
And yes I did play ball in high school and after in an adult league. I’d say above average but never the best player on the team. Maybe I could have played in a small college if I worked harder?  But I had a girlfriend.  I did have a good arm from the outfield though. I loved throwing strikes from out there. My favorite play to watch today.  A good relay from the corner to the IF to the plate to nail the runner is better than sex.

You can. It's relatively new and not cheap, $29.99/month. 

I chose to get sling tv "blue and orange package" which includes all espn channels, fox sports, and many others. Will cancel before the WS

We naturally focus on our own frustrations during Tigers games, but consider it from a Cleveland fan's perspective today:

- with runs at a premium facing Skubal, the Guardians give up an unearned run in the 1st thanks to a right fielder's error after Williams had started the game ideally getting 2 outs on 2 pitches

- give up another unearned run in the 7th because the 1st baseman gets his feet tangled up and doesn't touch the bag

-after being gifted a runner on 3rd and with a chance to negate Skubal's gem by tying the game, Rodriguez's baserunning blunder gets him thrown out at 3rd and kills the rally

Baseball and girlfriends are not a good match. Maybe for a while, but... At least way back when.

They got a huge break today. Don't beat yourself. Back to the basics - as always.

looking it again, I think it went under his glove. I'm going to guess is that what messed him up was Javy making the bounce throw already so low to the ground. Tork's muscle memory was probably expecting it bounce higher than it did and probably to be a harder throw than Javy managed. Still a great play by Baez and no justice at all to get an error on it.

At least we won the game we were supposed to win because we have the best pitcher in MLB and he did his job, but the Tigers could only score 2 runs. And this has sort of been par for the course lately.

It would be great if they could pull off another win tomorrow and just put an end of all this. But it will be hard to subsist on two or three runs a game in the next two series.

I probably hate the Red Sox more.  We’ve had success against the Yankees in the postseason.  Still bitter about the Papi grand slam.

It’s a shame they both can’t lose this series.

I'm more bitter about the Red Sox and Penguins, but the Yankees, Leafs, and Cowboys are are the most obnoxious fan bases in sports. The Cowboys are too pathetic to celebrate their demise right now though. It's like planning a pizza party for after the game against the winless team in Little League, when they're coached by the accountant dad who's trying his hardest but hasn't touched a baseball in 30 years.

Fun fact, those three obnoxious fan bases have combined for less championships than the Red Wings in the last 25 years, but you wouldn't know it by talking to them!

I think Red Sox fans are worse than Yankee fans, but that depends on whether you prefer self absorbed whiners with a victim complex or arrogant entitled assholes.
