I remember when Leyland put Alexis Gomez in the lineup for a playoff game out of nowhere, and he went yard. Thats why Leyland is better than Hinch. Quote

Correct and if he had better hitters, he wouldn't do things like bat a fourth outfielder in the middle of the order. Quote
Tigermojo Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Cleveland looking sloppy. Must take advantage. Quote
HugoD Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 (edited) Just took a peek between meetings. Happy to see 1 - 0 , but not as happy after glancing at P x P and seeing golden chance to score more wasted (again). Just get a 3 run cushion guys. Well, at least they've scored 4 runs in the series so far. If we could just push that to a cumulative Bert for the 3 games, we might have a chance. Edit: oh gosh, now it's 2 on with 1 out. I can't bear to look. Edited October 2, 2025 by HugoD Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 We might walk the bases loaded and yet again come away with no runs. Quote

Hongbit Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Very confused at why AJ let Parker hit vs lefty with 2 out there. That’s a perfect Jones or Andy situation. Quote
Hongbit Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Buckle up. We’ve seen too many times this year where Jack looks masterful first time through only to lose command in the 4th. Quote

Because it's so early in the game and his defense is worth quite a bit. If it's the 7th inning, he likely pinch hits. He also has shown an ability to put the ball in play and take a walk. Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Walk him. Every time. For Gods Sake. Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 And a DP. The inning was bad, but far less so than it looked earlier. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Normally a four-pitch walk to the 2-hitter would be a good sign for an inning. But I know better. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Carpenter is an exponentially better hitter when he isn’t swinging at everything Quote
