IdahoBert Posted Friday at 12:36 AM Posted Friday at 12:36 AM So I guess there was no Hallmark Channel “Thanksgiving Miracle” in terms of Tigers off-season moves or a big Lions victory today. That means we’re owed two miracles. Yea! Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted Saturday at 01:33 PM Posted Saturday at 01:33 PM What about Trevor Bauer? The world rejected him on an accusation that turned out not to be true. That's unfair and that could happen to any of us. You could be accused of something and your career taken away based on a lie. That's pretty scary. I think he does deserve a chance to pitch in MLB again. I know he rubbed folks the wrong way in the locker room, but my guess is that he's probably mellowed and wouldn't want to blow his second chance. I think he'd be worth a shot and would probably come fairly cheap. Quote

He can pitch again if anyone wants him, but he hasn't pitched in the Majors for 4 years and had a 4.51 ERA in Japan last year. Good luck with that. Quote

He's a ****, but the woman who accused him is now behind bars. There was a lot of evidence that showed she made it up. I saw the documentary. She planned the whole thing, evidenced in texts to a friend. She videoed herself the morning after the alleged incident, smiling with no bruises. She later admitted bruising herself and that she made it up. I can't stand the guy, but you should check out the available info before calling him out as a perp. Quote

IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 03:34 PM Posted Saturday at 03:34 PM So we go over 40 hours with no posts on this thread and the only thing to interrupt that silence is Trevor Bauer speculation. This is the very definition of nothing happening. Quote

RatkoVarda Posted Saturday at 07:26 PM Posted Saturday at 07:26 PM Trevor Bauer, an a-hole who gleefully treated women like garbage publicly and privately, was the victim of an extortion plot. Other people in his situation would not have had the means to avoid either criminal or civil ramifications. Thankfully, the truth of that situation came out, but it does not change the fact that he's an a-hole who gleefully treated women like garbage publicly and privately. 3 Quote

East division, but this is the first time I've heard them refered to as east coast like Boston, New York, Philadelphia. Toronto has a large market which makes it easier for them to have a big budget. It's also a nice city, but I don't think players go there because it's on the east coast. I think Cease went there because they overpaid. I was hoping the Tigers would get him, but I suspect nobody else offered him 7 years. Edited Saturday at 09:22 PM by Tiger337 Quote
papalawrence Posted Saturday at 09:28 PM Posted Saturday at 09:28 PM Looks like Helsley deal is 2/28. Harris probably offered 1/12 and free soda for a year Quote
