lordstanley Posted Tuesday at 07:55 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:55 PM Must win! The Lions will win comfortably, but don't let that fool us that the issues are fixed. Let's just get out of this game without more injuries to get ready for Green Bay four days later. 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Tuesday at 10:20 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:20 PM The Lions aren't in the playoff picture now. But after a loss we come back strong. We're going to smoke the Giants... Quote

They also beat the Eagles. And the Chargers. And nearly beat the Broncos. And gave the Packers and Bears fits Quote
lordstanley Posted Wednesday at 03:45 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:45 AM So the expectation is that Jaxson Dart will be ready to start by Sunday, correct? Quote

That’s what the coaching staff is saying, but it’s the doctors who get the final say on concussions. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted Wednesday at 02:56 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 02:56 PM I liked it more when we won 10 in a row, but I'll forgive them if we can win just four in a row in January and February 1 Quote

They provide the Lions’ coaching staff with insight into the team’s vulnerabilities and how opponents have been able to exploit that. And instead of being forced into halftime adjustments, they have 7 games in the next 2 months to crack the case before the playoffs start. Now, with that being said, no more gifts please! Especially not until the Rams game at the earliest  1 Quote
number20 Posted Friday at 07:06 PM Posted Friday at 07:06 PM Back is probably the worst spot for a tight end or OLineman to injure. Let’s hope it doesn’t linger for his career Quote

sagnam Posted Friday at 10:07 PM Posted Friday at 10:07 PM LaPorta being out for the season is a pretty big deal. He can block and in the safety blanket. 1 Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted yesterday at 03:58 AM Posted yesterday at 03:58 AM LaPorta being out is significant to this offense in both pass catching and pass blocking for Goff. I think Goff lost a security blanket over the middle and a reliable 6th blocker up on the line. This team believes in the next man up mentality, so hopefully Brock Wright can step right in and not experience too big a dropoff. Quote

Brock does a good job but we now have zero depth and are forced to depend on Ross Dwelly. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago Pretty bummed about losing LaPorta. The offensive output is probably replaceable amongst weapons, but with how hurt the offensive line is, he was invaluable as a 6th blocker. Brock Wright is not having a good year. I wouldn’t be shocked to see TeSlaa take some of LaPorta’s snaps, both as a blocker and as a big bodied pass catcher. Quote
