The Lions were never interested in playing this game while the Steelers clearly were.

This is still a very talented team across the board, but they have to go out and address their deficiencies in the offseason. They need a Center on the offensive line. They need depth on the line. They need at least one edge rusher and another run stuffer on the defensive front. They need to cut the dead weight like Davenport and Reader. So much to address. The foundation is there, but lots of missing exterior pieces that will help round you'd team out. Also, they need to stop drafting and signing injured players.

The Lions are 43-15 in their last 58 games. It's won of the best stretches in the NFL. People just need to settle down.
