Her net worth is estimated at around $250k. That seems low. She lives in Birmingham so her house is certainly worth more than $250k. Stevens isn't the one whose whole campaign is about where they receive their funding. That's El-Genocide and he refuses to show us where he gets his funding. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I'm also not even sure why El-Genocide would hide his financials? It's not going to hurt him with his base. The only thing that would hurt him with his base is if he got money from a Jew. Maybe he's a closet Zionist? Quote

For the house, only difference between the current value and the remaining mortgage principle counts as equity/asset, so that isn't necessarily close to the value of the house if it was purchased recently or refi'd Quote
oblong Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Does he understand what office he’s running for? Property taxes are not set by US senators. This is an example of someone who thinks little of their voters. Quote

Having money doesn't preclude you being a champion of the common man e.g. The Roosevelts and Kennedy's. Gov Dayton in MN was a strong liberal - he's a Dayton/Hudson/Target heir. John Kerry was about as wealthy as they came in his day - also a progressive for his era. Quote

The guy has hardly worked a day in his life. He is the one who makes his entire identity and campaign out of where candidates get their money from and yet he's the only one who won't show where he gets his money from. Quote

I'm sure that $31 per year would have been life altering. Edited July 9 by Motown Bombers Quote

Rhetoric in search of an issue. Edited July 9 by gehringer_2 Quote
oblong Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Stuff like that tells me he’s a bull****ter. Yes that’s a low standard I guess but just don’t tell me he’s special. He’s not. I will vote for him if he’s the nominee but he’s not some kind of Obama figure. He’s a democratic mike tigers. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I'm not voting for him if he makes it through the primary. I have voted in every election for the past 25 years and voted Democrats up and down the ballot. This would be the first time ever not voting for a Democrat. I'll write in Hunter Biden or uncommitted. He should have earned my vote. It's not my fault if he loses. He should've campaigned harder. While I see the downside risk of having an possible empty suit Democrat with questionable foreign policy preferences elected, it just isn't even in the same ball park with the risk of another GOP Senate confirming more Trump JOTSCs nominees. That overrides pretty much everything else to me. I think it will be a moot point though. My money would be Stevens wins the primary. Quote

Am I supposed to vote for whoever Democratic leadership tells me to vote for? I'm not going to be forced into voting for the lesser of two evils. Motown Bombers Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I'm not convinced Stevens wins. She's a younger Joe Biden who's just a good Democrat who's farther to the left than both Peters and Slotkin. El-Genocide is a show pony who has a loyal following. In low turnout primaries, the show pony wins. Quote

If El-Sayed wins the primary, it wasn't the democratic leadership that picked him, it was the voters. The state party 'leaderships' preference is pretty clearly Stevens. Quote

The voters picked Biden over Sanders by 10 million votes, but to El-Genocide, it was rigged by the DNC. Basically what you are saying is if Stevens wins Dem leadership picked her, if El-Genocide wins, voters picked him. Quote
