pfife Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Old enough to remember when you defended paid speeches. Just more hypocrisy 1 Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Were these paid speeches done in private to Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street firms? Were they done in front of big pharmaceutical companies? Did Abdul say you need to have a public position and a private position on the issues? The issue wasn't paid speeches. It was the dollar amount Hillary charged, who her audience was, and what she was telling them. Quote
romad1 Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Murphy on the Hacks podcast said that Whitmer had a knife waiting for AES since he ran against her in the Governor's race. Quote
Tigerbomb13 Posted July 29 Posted July 29 lol I don’t necessary approve of them, but I will sure as hell make sure I get them elected over the alternative. One side doesn’t blindly worship politicians. 1 Quote

No, she didn't. She extended an olive branch and offered him a position and he refused and called her a bitch. She won every single county. She beat him like a drum. Why would she care? He was nothing. Quote

So why did you derisivelly post a tweet about his speeches? ****s getting real deep when you cant even support post 1 with subsequent post 2 without contradicting yourself 1 Quote

I think the narrative you outline above about him biting her hand after she tried to be the gracious winner just amplifies that she had that knife for him when it was time to deploy it. Quote
romad1 Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Another thing they mentioned on the pod. The fact that Fox News and the 1945 Churchill campaign is going to paint their opposition as the crazed extremists and they will dig up DSA fruitbats to run against. They pointed out that it will give smart centrists opportunities to pivot hard on the lunatics. Will take some skill and patience. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I just signed up to volunteer for Stevens. I'm going to phone/text bank. I can't go door to door because I can't be held responsible for my actions if someone opens the door and mentions AIPAC. 1 Quote
Tigeraholic1 Posted July 30 Posted July 30 I am so hoping El-Jazeera wins the Primary. No one outside of Detroit and Grand Rapids will vote for him in November. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Dems in Wisconsin are about to nominate a nutter. Barnes was probably the best candidate despite being the only Dem in Wisconsin to lose in 2022. Quote
