Edman85 Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Put it this way... There were times before my mom's dementia accelerated out of control that I was looking into ways to move in to help with care. If that selfless act is pathetic, then whoever is judging it as such can rot in hell as they deserve. 2 2 Quote

I think some people just want to find fault with others who dare to live differently than the way *they* think life should be lived. I don't think they care how others live. What I believe they are doing is finding fault with others, so they can feel better about themselves. 2 Quote
Edman85 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Somebody I was talking to yesterday made the point that somebody was with Lindsey Graham overnight and made the 911 call. That will be interesting to find out who he was that made that call... Quote

oblong Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Could also have been someone who worked at his house... he was gone for a long time and I imagine he had a nice enough house to need keeping up. he died from the same thing that got John Ritter. They thought he was having a heart attack. It was, basically, an artery splitting apart. Quote

Some fast EMT and transfer work got him to Henry Ford in time for aortic graft surgery. He lived with the graft another 20 yrs. Not a completely free lunch - the years on blood thinners were a contributing factor in his health eventually failing, but he got to his 4 score. Edited July 13 by gehringer_2 Quote

Right as he had finished packing the family truckster to return from vacation with the family. Horrifying. Quote
oblong Posted July 13 Posted July 13 My sister was scheduled to have her aortic valve replace. Routine they said. Her arteries started to split so they had to try it again while she was open. She was on a ventilator for weeks and never left a hospital. that was in May. She passed the first week of September. The last thing I remember talking to her about was when Verlander got traded. Her symptoms was feeling light headed for awhile so she got checked out. Sometimes I wonder if she never did that would she still be around? 1 Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted July 14 Posted July 14 This McConnell thing reminds me of James Brown's death. Nobody was sure if JB was a alive or dead and nobody was confirming anyhting. Quote
Edman85 Posted July 15 Posted July 15 LOL. I put something on facebook about how, given some recent discussions about a certain current event, I was surprised people don't know what a Log Cabin Republican. The feed has been feeding me a bunch of Lindsey Graham related content since... Quote
