oblong Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Well we have seen people, like Vance, go the other way, so I guess it’s possible for the reverse to happen. I hope we can go back to a “normal” two party system. Quote

I hope we can go back to a “normal” two party system. I'm in the camp that's still on the fence. I think the "break" with Trump came when he when he did not endorse her for a Senate run. JV Last theorizes it's a combination of things. She was born into a wealthy Catholic family, got married while in college. She had three children, joined the family business. Along the way she became disillusioned with the Church over the child abuse scandals, got into CrossFit and opened a gym. She also got sucked into social media conspiracy algorithms. That lead to politics and a divorce. It was also about the same time that Trump's populist theories were catching on. The theory here is a combination of the information in the Epstein papers along with getting rebuffed in her political ambitions by Trump. Who knows if it will stick or not? It's an interesting theory https://www.thebulwark.com/p/marjorie-taylor-greene-and-eat-pray-love-epstein-files Quote
oblong Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’m just a schmo on the internet but if I can change anyone can. But I don’t blame people being suspicious. She is a politician after all. Quote

I think MTG was your average mom that lived in a red bubble and was outraged by the 'evil' left. I somewhat wonder if she went to DC with good intentions and is starting to see the 'right' side isn't really working for the average people either. Add in the fact that she seems to be willing to learn and that has softened a lot of her conspiracy theory talk. She will continue to vote for republican minded fiscal and social issues though, the left will realize and start ****ting on her again, and it's up in the air on if she can break free of Trump and not get booted from the party.
