Add Carpenter, McKinstry, and Vierling to the list of those who will hit free agency by then. Three years is a long time. I firmly believe that Green is going to be the centerpiece of a big deal somewhere down the road. We'll see. Quote

He's gotta prove he IS a centerpiece. He was so up and down. If they make the postseason again, he needs to come up with some key hits. Quote

Cruzer1 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago He's on the team. Because the Tigers drafted Clark, and Clark was willing to go underslot, the Tigers were able to draft McGonigle! Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I am elated that McGonigle gets to be on the opening day roster and show what he's got. He's fully deserving of this opportunity, let's hope he can make the most of it. Now we truly get to see if Clark/McGonigle vs. Wyatt Langford was the right decision for Scott Harris to have made. LFG! Quote

I think they will re-sign Greene. McGonigle, Clark and Rainer are gimme, also Dingler. I think Keith has to be rostered with that great contract. I think Briceno will be a full time 1b, unless it's Keith. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago What number is McGonigle? Can't be 85. That's a Spring Training number. #7? #15? #41? Quote

oblong Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I was hanging out in the lobby at the Comerica Park offices with Max, his family, and girlfirend. It was right after the draft and he came up to sign his deal. I didn't bother them but it's weird not thinking you are that old and seeing his parents and they're about my age. I still think I have a shot. 1 Quote

Campos is obviously nowhere near Miggy's zip code... But if he actually turned into a Byron Buxton or Kyle Tucker we'd all be doing handsprings and "shouting from the mountain tops"... That is... if we didn't just keel over dead from shock. Quote

antrat Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I give it until the third week before the "overrated" calls start up. Tough town. Quote

TigerNation Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago But I was told the Tigers had a required number of PAs a player had to get in the minors before they called them up. Quote
