Tigers select Trammell in the 2nd round. Ozzie in the 7th round. Ozzie didn't sign but I've often wondered if we might have ended up with Tram at 3rd, Ozzie at SS, Lou at 2nd....... Quote

I think Tram and Lou would have flipped positions—Whitaker had a howitzer that would have played at 3B Quote

Didn’t Whitaker start with the Tiger organization as a 3B and then was moved to 2B? I know later in his career he was going to move to 3B for some 2B prospect that was never to be. 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago McGonigle has taken Detroit, and the baseball world, by storm. So....is he gonna hit .400? 😁😁 Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I was watching ithe 8th inning n bed last night McGonigle's AB reminds me of Dave Bergman's 1984 AB vs. the Blue Jays on Monday Night Baseball. 13 pitchers. Foul after foul after foul until he hit the game winning HR. The pitches he took. This dude's the real deal, man. Edited 2 hours ago by Motor City Sonics 1 Quote
