I wonder how things would’ve ended up had AJ not insisted on continuing to send out a non major league pitcher into a major league game.

DFA Anderson and move Flaherty to the bullpen when Verlander is off the IL. Six walks by Flaherty. The Tigers are lucky the Red Sox didn't score 12 runs or more. Today, I really believe Flaherty didn't want to pitch in this game for the Tigers. He looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.

I've thought of that but Flaherty is useless in the pen. Not even for long relief, if he can't throw strikes.
