I see the Jack struck out the side again in the top of the fifth. 10 K’s total. In five innings. Pitch count 96 so he’s done.

This team is kind of unwatchable right now. And literally for me, because my MLB.TV account expired today and I’m not motivated to spend $139.99 this very moment to watch these guys. Maybe I’ll feel differently in a month.

I remember someone from the Red Wings (maybe Dan Cleary), dropping to block a shot and getting hit with a slap shot in teh mouth.  Knocked 7 teeth out.   He was pissed off they would not let him back into the game until the bleeding totally stopped, but he did go into the game in the next period.

Last season, it was something like $69 for the rest of the season around mothers day? Mother's Day is Sunday so if I see an ad for it on sale, I'll let you know.

TBF, 2 ER is not a disaster of a start, but the 3rd and 4th were the Jack we don't want to see.

I won’t go so far as to say the Tigers are a bad team, because they are more hurt than bad, but they are sure playing dead on their feet. And the longer it goes on, the more that’s on A.J. There’s this weird mix of chaos and ennui surrounding the team right now, and he’s got to fix it, pronto. That’s why he makes the big money.

That was depressing. Going to put on a random 2006 DVD game and hope my fortunes are a bit better with that game. They should. About 70% of the games I recorded were wins.

Thanks. That’s good of you and that’s how I got it cheap last year but I don’t think they’re offering me that deal this time, to me at least.  I had to re-up for $139.99 and what they’re telling me right now is that I’m not eligible for these kind of discounts this time and I think they’ve gotten better at closing the loopholes. But you never know…
