Sports_Freak Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I really want to think that Dingler is really this good and it will last. But....Matt Nokes? Quote

Cathers do tend to wear down, but I am hoping for a few more good years. Even if he slows down offensively though, Dingler is a much better defender than Nokes. 2 Quote
NorthWoods Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Kid is getting a bit frustrated with 1-9 Seattle stop. He was swearing into his helmet..... Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I hadn’t heard it before but kind of cool the way Dan Dickerson talks about someone’s statistics. “looking good on the back of a baseball card,” in other words, saying that the stats look good, but don’t include any advanced analytic understanding. Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Cleveland has lost 11 of their last 14… Oh how sweet it is. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted August 6 Posted August 6 RIP Tarik Skubals Cure Commercials. They’re now playing a Jahmyr Gibbs one 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Dickerson‘s talking about how the weather is really nice. It’s 82° in Seattle. The smoke isn’t all that bad and it’s “low humidity” 43%. We have the same air quality but it’s 101° in Boise which is hot but only 10% humidity. And I can tell you if we had 43% humidity it would be sweltering here since we just ain’t used to that stuff. IdahoBert Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Framber with a low pitch count after five innings only two hits two walks. This is either good or it means he’s ready to implode. Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 6 Posted August 6 I was just gonna comment that I was “ready for a Tork bomb” but he’d already struck out. Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 6 Posted August 6 After a leadoff single the sixth, it’s time for a ground ball pitcher’s best friend the DP Quote
IdahoBert Posted August 6 Posted August 6 He got out of it after falling behind Rodriguez, 3–0. Can our relief staff protect a four run lead with three innings to go? Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Okay bullpen, nine outs. Don’t mess this up. Meanwhile, insurance runs would be awesome. Good job, Framber. Quote

A tad on the warm side, just enough to remove my Tigers road jersey and just wear my Tigers navy blue t shirt. Just a smidgen of fire smog. 1 Quote
