Other than Torres getting three hits, and Valencia being incredible, the other really good thing about this game is that it’s about 25 minutes shorter thanks to the pitch clock rule!

Big series vs division leader and the Tigers come up small. The starting pitching came up small, the blow pen lost another game. What a depressing series now we have to hope for a win to manage the damage.

Trading 2 of the better pitchers in the AL wasn't a sign of giving up on this season. But not bringing in ANY legitimate major league talent sure was. Not a bat..no bullpen help. Just a surrender.

But does it make sense to trade for future assets and then trade other future assets away ?
