Maybe the Tigers could score a few runs late themselves for once. They are awful against late inning relievers.

Tork and Dingler have gone cold and Riley is out. That's a lot of offense missing compared to just a couple of weeks ago when they were world beaters.

The White Sox and the Cubs are scoreless after five innings! Maybe we could back our way into an utterly undeserved by any lucid calculation shot at the postseason!

Another thought: how freakin slow is Torres? I couldn't believe he got throw out at the plate on McGonigles's double. Dickerson had already added two runs to the tally once he saw the ball split the outfielders.

Pretty frustrating.  I wonder what the record is for team blown saves in a single year.

So we now need  a 20-15 finish to be even at 81-81. That’s .571 ball. Will it be enough and can we do it ?

I think the Nationals have blown more saves than the Tigers this year.

Wow...gotta love watching a game for 3 hours just to see a predictable ending. What's that, about 30 blown late inning leads? But yeah, don't get any bullpen help at the deadline....let all the other teams improve themselves. Have fun watching the playoffs on TV, Scott. Any normal organization would show you the freakin' door.

We haven't been .500 since, when, April? This was the true 2026 Detroit Tiger team.

There are 7 teams for one spot. The last wildcard spot. Not much hope of finishing in front of all of them. Especially at the end of the month, we play the best AL team and the best NL team. I'll watch the Skubal start. Other than that? Yeah, football is starting. F Scott Harris and this pathetic roster he has put together. Al Avila guys are mostly gone and this is 100% on Harris.
