  2. I failed in my viewing this last night. I didn't tune in until the start of the 4th quarter in real time and accidently chose "live" rather than "from the beginning". So, I only got part of the emotion of the game. That 4ht quarter was bonkers by itself. But for fans that watched the entirety of it, didn't give up at 20 down and stuck with the game, I cannot imagine the rush of watching that comeback live. That's why you stick through with your team. That probably happens once every..... well, heck, it never happens. Until it does. So, what I saw was that they struggled for a bit getting over that 4-6 point deficit for a bit. I just kind of wonder to myself, had the original difference been only, oh I don't know, say 10 points, does Orlando still have the energy level to finish the game off with a win? Losing a 20 point lead is so much more demoralizing than 10. Surely that fed into their failure to score in the 4th. It had to have.

  4. I think it's mental with Flaherty. After all, 90% of pitching is 50% mental.
  5. We gave up a fourth. 98 percent of fourth round picks amount to zippo. I wouldn’t be worried about losing that
  6. Montero on FOX and it will be kind of cold. I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER.
  7. Today
  8. If you are Gage Workman this move should concentrate your mind on life after baseball.
  9. This was lost in the excitement of the Pistons big comeback. KD killed another team.
  10. Casimir was just joking about Short the other day. Did he know something?
  11. Zack Short gives 110% on every play. He makes every player on the team a better player.

  13. He's the only one who tells the truth. He was right about everything.
  14. Sadly, too many red hats I know personally believe whatever Don tells them.
  15. oh i agree. jb's hand was forced because duren got hurt. jb would have played him 40 minutes if he could have.
  16. Don't need to convince me he is useless. I'm just saying it wasn't some brilliant move by JB to take him out. He got his minutes then some.
  17. it was 71-57 when duren went out (and he was doing basically nothing). in the time duren was out reed had 6 pts, 6 rebs, and 3 blocks. almost more than duren had in 3x the minutes. it was 72-69 when he came back in. duren is doing basically nothing and having either stew or reed in the game for him gives the pistons an advantage.
  18. From the moment this guy came up, you could tell from the way he torqued his body during his delivery that he was an injury away from ending his career. That said, he did get a couple really good years out of his body.
  19. He’s fine as emergency depth, and we are definitely in an emergency at short. I would guess he mostly stays at AAA until absolutely necessary, since he is such a sinkhole at the plate.
  20. Or they’re going to settle down and be either good or bad. One or the other or the other. In any event …
  21. Duren came back into the game about the 8-minute mark in the 4th and finished the game. He played 32 minutes total, which is more than the 30 minutes he is averaging for the series.
  22. Yes, that’s great to experience. Also, when the Cubbies win, it’s easier to get out of there faster because as soon as the last out is made, you take off and make good progress toward the exit while everyone is standing around singing. I froze my toes off at the game yesterday. March/April/May at Wrigley can suck really bad. But when the weather is good, brother, it’s the best.
  23. Might as well win this one for the viewership on the national scale.
