  2. Per the new agreement, referees must meet a quota of calls that negatively impact the Lions in games in which the Lions are participants and/or in games that have significant impact to the Lions.
  3. I don’t see a way we get back under that. Between injuries and the unlikeliness that we are going to move any of the $3 million and up guys at the deadline.
  4. One of the worst things, Sanders is 84, his term runs until he’s 89, he’s already had a heart attack, but we can’t have him die because Vermont has a republican governor. Ageism is selective.
  5. Running cover for Republicans is a choice
  6. Never forget someone didnt support the same candidate as you 10 years ago!!! Dont tread on you!!!!
  7. Never forget Bernie Sanders press secretary from 2016. (Who supported Stein again in 2024).
  8. Yeah i agree for instance the people who voted for trump helped trump win a contest of who gets more votes way more than the people who voted for people other than trump. Similarly the pistons players who scored baskets helped the pistons win a game much more than the people who scored baskets for cleveland
  9. Another thing, we don't even know how many write in votes Bernie received in 2016 in Michigan as they weren't even counted since he hadn't filed a declaration of intent. Considering Even McMullin received 8,177 votes, I'd probably take the bet that Bernie received more write ins than Trump's margin of victory.
  10. After Trump and MAGA, Bernie Sanders is the worst thing to happen to this country. He corrupted a whole generation.
  11. So all the same old guys were always trying to screw the lions are coming back? Well, that’s just great.
  12. Both candidates were getting support from Bernie voters, they never coalesced around either one. It didn't matter who they voted for, all that mattered to them was that they weren't voting for Clinton.

  15. I've argued this for years with regards to third party voting. If you are going to say that most or every Green Party vote that went to Jill Stein should have gone to Clinton, then you have to be willing to say the same of Libertarian Party votes that went to Gary Johnson and say those should be Trump votes on the right. Gary Johnson got 172,136 votes in 2016 in Michigan and Jill Stein got 51,463 votes in 2016 in Michigan. So Johnson hurt Trump more than Stein did Clinton. The numbers get even worse when you factor in the other right wing candidate, Darrell Castle, from the Constitution Party. These numbers hold in all the swing states as well, Johnson outperformed Stein. So in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Johnson took more votes from Trump than Stein took from Clinton.
  16. Voters are to blame for Republican president republican policies.
  17. There's a difference between people who voted for who the wanted to vote for and butthurt little babies who voted for someone out of spite.
  18. My guess is that if ABS if producing the increase in walks, they will come back down - at least part of the way, because pitchers with poor command exposed by ABS will either adjust or be replaced by guys that have better command but maybe give up a little more contact. Either way, whether via walks or contact, there are going to be more guys on base, which should lead to some increase in run scoring. The other effect I would speculate about is the top of zone change. Now every player has a fixed top to his strike zone which is going to be the same no matter who the umpire. That gives the player the chance to learn his zone to greater accuracy than before ABS. That has to be a second aid to hitters on top of not having to cope as much with the outside breaking ball that fools both players and umps and so often gets called a strike.
  19. Republicans are to blame for the Republican president and republican policies.
  20. My kids are millennials, neither has ever done social media. One is a gamer and has a long-standing online connection to a stable community (not unlike this one I suppose).
  21. They are really good at home, at least, they have a good home record. I would take those streaks in a heartbeat.
  22. Might as well right the ship.
  23. Well, yeah, it's not as though they're interested in freedom and liberty for literally everyone, right? That has never been how conservatism works. That's always been a liberal idea.
  24. Under the MAGA Doctrine of Free Speech Me. F-U for anyone else (Sorry, Chicago traffic PSTD is kicking in)
  25. Brandon Carr has already tried to block that route.
  26. I do agree that in a free and fair election, contested democratically, the Democrats smoke the republicans off the field.
