I think Kevin actually could just play SS everyday. If something happens that prevents that, you can get through the rest of the game with an emergency option (Torres? Lee? Vierling? Wenceel?). If it is going to be six weeks until a true backup SS option is available, then fine. But in the short term I think you can just ride with Kevin. It’s also true that our starting nine is without a CF now. So I think it is definitely an option to consider calling up Clark. Vierling and Wenceel can fake it there, but I’d rather have a fake backup SS than a fake starting CF.

Our local Wegmans sells Bills gear. The fanbase is strong, often drunk and can be amusing. I went to a Lions game in Buffalo with a buddy who lives in Rochester NY area and had a couple near fights with guys who probably wouldn't have been able to pick which of the three targets in front of them were me.

Yes it is. We were in Buffalo in October of 2023, driving back from Cooperstown. We had to stop to get a training run in for our half marathon and we found a trail where we could sneak in 8 miles. It was a Sunday so we went over to a Longhorn Steakhouse in a strip mall nearby. The Bills were playing. We were the only two people in a packed restaurant without any Bills gear on. It was like what I'd expect for a playoff game, not one in early October.
